Proud of My Size

So I came across a wonderful blog place today at The Nearsighted Owl. The Nearsighted Owl is all about self-love and body-acceptance and does a really fun 'I'm Proud of My Size' link-up, encouraging all her beautiful readers to take a full-length photo of themselves and post the picture - complete with their 'size', all to create a gallery of fab, proud, lovely women. Hell yeah, I say.

I love this. It's greatness. Let's just get all the numbers out there, out all the sizes...destroy the shame and embarrassment associated with them - and get women feeling confident, beautiful...and HAPPY!

Of course I'm totally linking up. This is a picture of me taken after I got all dolled up to see Il Divo Live with my mom a few weeks ago. And I'm currently a size 14. I don't get dolled up too often, so this is as good as it gets. And I don't think I've ever worn white linen pants before - but these were huge on sale and I thought they were deliciously summery : )
